I have ankles again!!!!

39 weeks & 5 days

Today I am 39 weeks and 5 days, and since yesterday I have been able to see my ankles! Yay!!! LOL I've lost a couple of pounds which is great, I've been retaining a lot of water.

So I've come to terms that Baby will be here this week, doesn't matter how. We are shooting for Friday, but we will see what the doctor says at the appointment on Thursday (if we make it until then, I still have my fingers crossed LOL) Chris will start his 2 week vacation Friday and I only have a few more days to get my room ready for the Baby. Just need to get a few more things done, nothing major. Her room will be almost done. It will at least have 3 out of the 4 walls done and all her things will be moved in. The last wall basically only has a shelf and some painting, but that can be done over the summer. She will be sleeping with us for a few months anyway. I have her carseat in the car, but it's not installed :) All her clothes are washed, we have many newborn diapers that were given to us, we decided not to waste them, just use them until we run out then start our cloth diaper voyage. Hopefully she will fit into them by then, if not, well then I guess I will have to buy more disposable until she does. It wasn't my plan, but I know things change. Chris and I went out the last few nights to spend some time alone together before the baby gets here. It will be a while before we get to go out on our own again. It's weird to actually be able to count down the days until you see your baby. Although we haven't discussed it with the doctor, we are counting down until Friday. As a matter of fact I may call today to see how that works. So, as of now I have about 4 days until I get to see my little girl. Scary and exciting at the same time. Can't wait!!!

* So you don't feel like coming out, huh? :) Well, I'm sorry, but you can't stay in there forever. Doctor says you need to come out before next Wednesday so Mommy and Daddy picked this coming Friday. If this Friday is not possible then maybe Monday. Now, you still have time to come out here on your own, 4 days, no pressure :) We can't wait to see you. I keep going over everything, making sure I have everything I need for your first few weeks at home. I think I'm missing a few things, but I will probably go get those today. Mommy is so excited! I think Daddy is a little nervous ;) Mommy is nervous, too. I can't wait pumpkin!!!! Just a few more days and you will be in my arms!!!
