3 months old

I can't believe it's been 3 months since I had this precious gift from God! Time has flown by and I am just amazed at what Chris and I created. She couldn't be any more perfect! Gillian loves to sit up or stand and look at everything! She loves to be lazy with me in bed in the mornings. She hates just being picked up right away, she likes to take her time waking up :) Stretching, smiling, yawning, stretching some more LOL Then she likes to have a morning conversation with squeals and smiles. Maybe after about 10-15 minutes and after a diaper change, then she's ok to be in a sitting position and maybe stand and play LOL We have gotten used to Daddy going to work by 7am so Gilly and I share the bed until 10am after that :) Bedtime still varies. Sometimes it's as early as 6 and others as late as 10. There have been a few times that she wakes up at midnight to play, silly girl! But for the most part, after 8 o'clock she only wakes up to eat and goes right back to sleep. She is up for most of the day though, smiling and talking to our ceiling fan. That seems to be her best and funniest friend so far :) We started putting her in a walker since she likes to stand and she seems to really like it. She likes to move the toys on the tray around and she likes that she can just sit if she gets tired of standing. Her 0-3 month jammies no longer fit! Her toes almost poke holes through the bottom, she's getting so long! My munchkin is growing so fast! You know me, I LOVE taking pictures and I LOVE ALL her pictures LOL And I know I haven't been good at posting her pics, but I have a very demanding little girl! I promise to put more up though. For now, I will post her 3 month pictures! Well, 3 months and 1 day because Daddy worked yesterday :) Enjoy!

   Wow! Three months! You are growing so fast! I love watching you discover new things, like your feet! I love looking at things from your point of view! How amazing are these little hands that you can control? "Wow, when I hit this toy it chimes! Whoah! What are those things? Feet, you say? Hey, I can feel something when I touch them!" I am completely amazed and mesmerized by the things you do. You make me laugh, you make me smile, you even make me cry :) But you are best at melting my heart with that beautiful toothless grin you give me every morning and every night and every other time! I love you more than words can say. And although Daddy doesn't say it, he loves you too :) I can tell by the way he looks at you when he thinks no one is watching and you can just feel it when he plays with you. We are both so in love with you and we can't wait to see what the next 3 months will bring! Te quiero mucho mucho!

12 weeks today

My monkey is 12 weeks old today. Time has flown by! I love spending every minute with her, watching her grow and change. She smiles when I smile, she "talks" if I talk, and she loves to situp or stand with our help. This morning she took over Daddy's spot in bed after he left for work. A couple hours later I woke up to a smack in the face! I opened one eye and saw this beautiful wide awake little girl with the biggest toothless grin! I started laughing :) It's like she was saying "wake up Mommy!" LOL She is no longer a big crybaby, just a little crybaby. She is up most of the day most days. Somedays she sleeps all day. She sits up in her bumbo seat, leans a little to her right, but she's good. She is outgrowing her moses basket, we will have to move her playpen upstairs soon. Today she weighs 12.4 lbs :) She's growing so fast and changing so much! I love this little girl! ♥♥♥

*Gillian, I love you baby girl. I kiss you at least 100 times a day, I can't help myself. We play, we talk, we eat and sleep together. I can just sit here and watch you all day. You are the best thing that happened to Daddy and me. We both love you very much! Keep growing and learning my little angel! ♥♥♥
