32 weeks down, 8 to go!

32 weeks

Letting Baby get some sun while watching the puppies :)

Belly looks so funny from this point of view, almost coney! LoL

Oh my goodness, how has time flown by! Baby Girl will be here soon and there is so much left to do. Her room still needs a lot of work, but at least we have all her furniture now. So once the painting is done, and the carpet is either cleaned or replaced by wood flooring (haven't decided what we will do yet), then we just need to move in all her stuff, wash her clothes, and get everything organized. Not that she will be sleeping in there for a few months anyway, but I'd like to have everything ready. We found something to put her bassinet on, which is great! My baby has tons of outfits, but needs onesies and jammies. I also need to go shopping for bath stuff, first aid kit, nail clippers and all that good stuff. Oh, and really need to get my breast pump. I have a few wipees, need to order more diapers, have newborn diapers :), play pen, bathtub, stroller, and carseat. I bought a few jammies for labor day and that I can use to make breastfeeding easier. I just need to get myself organized. Breastfeeding and birthing classes in April, down to one job so I can have more time to get ready, need to clean house from top to bottom, and get Black Dog used to sleeping outside. Whew!!! Thank goodness my Mom will be here in May to help out for a little bit. The plan is to show up a week before my due date, but we will see when my Little Monkey decides to come out. She has been so active and I love it! There are days that I wonder what the heck she's doing in there because I feel kicks and punches in every direction! But those are my favorite moments, when Chris and I just lay there watching her and feeling her :) Soon I'll get to hold her in my arms!

* My Little Pumpkin! I love you so much and can't wait! I'm getting very excited and nervous as we get closer and closer to meeting you! Daddy has been working really hard and long hours lately at the new store, so progress in your room has been slow, but you and I are helping Daddy by painting while he is gone. Here is a little sneak peek to what's been done:
As you can see, we still have the other 3 walls to go, plus finish this one. Everyone says this is for a boy, but Daddy really liked this theme and he thought you would really like it, too. I can promise you that you will have plenty of bright colors to look at :) This last month was Mommy's birthday and Daddy picked out a card and presents from you and him:

You and Daddy bought Mommy a beautiful plant and a funny birthday card with wienies on it! You also convinced Daddy to buy Mommy a Reeses Cup and Ferrero Rocher chocolates! They didn't last long enough for the picture :) Thank you Daddy and Baby Girl!

Here are just some more pictures that were taken this March:

Pretty likes to jump in the water when she's hot :)

Black Dog likes to play outside

Augustus never lets go of his ball!!!

Schatzi after being dunked in the water, running, ears flapping in the wind!

3D pics at 30 weeks

Apparently our Baby is playing the secrets game with us like we are playing with everyone else. We aren't giving her name away and she wasn't about to show us her face :) She made sure she dug her head even deeper into my pelvis and squished her face even closer to my uterine wall (giving her a little piggy nose or super flat nose, lol). She also kept her hands right at her mouth and if those weren't there, my little gymnast would kick her feet up to her face and block her mouth again. We watched her wiggle around and lick the back of her wrist. It was funny seeing her stick her tongue out. There's one where it looks to me like she's smiling behind her hands, kinda smirking as if she's saying "Haha Mommy! You can't see me!". After a few jiggles and wiggles we were able to get her hands off her face for like a fraction of a second lol. The tech also said since she was so far down that she couldn't get a picture of her forehead, but we already know she's going to have the Magdaleno forehead lol. Here are my favorite pictures of my Chunky Monkey!

She was nice enough to let us see her toes :)

Her little foot up by her face

As soon as she moved her little foot, she stuck her hand in her mouth :)

It might just be me, but her eyes look squinty to me and I see a curl on her lip :)  Probably just me, but I don't care LoL Look at those chubby cheeks! I can't wait to bite them! Oh wait I mean kiss them , hehe!

We saw her lips for a second :)

Lots and lots of stuff!

Our trip to El Paso last weekend was hectic as usual. I'm just glad we didn't have to drive. Flying is way easier :)  It was nice to spend time with my mom and sister the day before the shower, going out to lunch, shopping, and getting pedis together. The day of the shower everything was a mess, everything was running late as usual and I didn't get a chance to get ready until after my guests started arriving, but with the help of my sister, mom, dad, Tia Lola, and my wonderful husband we got everything together fairly quickly. After getting ready and grabbing a bite to eat, I felt a lot more relaxed so I was able to enjoy it. My mother-in-law made all the food, favors, and centerpieces and my sisters-in-law took care of the games. Cake, games, and gifts all went by rather quickly since it was starting to get cold outside. Although it was chaotic, it was nice to see all my close family and friends. I was extra excited to see my friend Jennifer Han! I missed her so much, I can't even remember the last time I saw her. She couldn't stay long, but I'm happy with the few minutes we had together. (*If we lived in El Paso Baby Girl, she would teach you how to kick butt! She's awesome! As a matter of fact, she's going to Mexico this week to fight, so we will pray for her safety and wish her luck!) We are very grateful and feel so blessed for all the gifts we received. My little girl won't need any clothes for her whole first year :) Gift cards and cash were very helpful! We bought her crib, mattress, and dresser with most of them. We still have some left! Glass bottles and cloth diapers made me happy. Her bassinet that my mother-in-law dressed up for her is beautiful and I can't wait to see my Baby Girl in it. She got her first piggy bank from cousin Savannah and Papa and Abuelito were the first ones to put some change in it :) This will go towards her first birthday present! Swing, socks, onesies, jammies, gloves, stockings, tights, shoes, diapers, wipees, and toys! Oh my!!! Not to mention the 40 outfits my sister got, too, plus the newborn outfits my friend's little girl outgrew. Yup, I think she will be good this year. Packing everything was a bit of a challenge. We did take extra suitcases just in case and Chris made EVERYTHING but the big stuff (4 items) fit! He stood there and rolled every piece of clothing and fit all her clothes into one suitcase! 35 pounds of it! Crazy if you think about how tiny baby clothes is :) It was a long day! I was ready for bed at 6:30 :) Long, long day, but very happy in the end. Thank you everybody!

* Oh my goodness Baby, you are going to look ridiculously adorable in all this clothes. Mommy is going to try her hardest to get you in all these outfits, so you may end up with 2 outfits a day LOL Everybody loves you so much and they are all very excited that you are coming. I can't wait to see you next Wednesday at your 3D appointment. Don't be shy :) Maybe we will get to see you smile. I love you little one and I love having you in my belly :) Feeling you move around has been the greatest joy I've ever experienced so far. I know seeing you for the first time on your birthday will surpass that and I can't wait! Daddy and I started painting your room. Since Daddy wants Super Mario, Mommy added glitter to your paint so it at least sparkles :) It looks awesome at night! We still have a lot more to paint though, I hope you love it! I love you Baby!
