Well, we've made it to at least 37 weeks! Yay! Baby Girl will now be able to breathe on her own from now on, but I think I made a very comfy belly for her because she is not showing any signs of wanting to come out. Our doc's appointment was scheduled for Thursday, but she had a sick family member and will be out for the week so another doctor at the office saw us on Wednesday instead. If our doctor is not back next week, then she will see us again and deliver the baby if she decides to come. My group B strept test came back negative, yay! Which just means I don't have to take antibiotics before I deliver. She tried to check my cervix, but she said she wasn't going to try to go in any further because my cervix was "up to my tonsils" LOL She said it was still too high up and that the baby would still be dropping more. I have to pee so much already, I think I'm going to be spending the last few weeks sitting on the toilet peeing all day :) Chris was happy to hear she still had more to drop, she doesn't want her coming early although technically she's considered full term now. He wants her to be well done, even overcooked! LOL
As far as her room goes, I know I sound like a broken record when I say we are almost done! LoL We have the majority of the third wall done, and then all that's left is building the shelf for the last wall and making the corner bench by the window. And of course painting that dang border on the bottom, but Chris will be doing that because I can't paint that low. It feels like something round gets in the way :) Then hopefully next Saturday they can come and do the carpets and all done! Just have to put her furniture in there and it's done. Still sounds like a lot to do, I know, but Chris has been opening so it's been nice to have him home by 5:30. Although my poor baby naps as soon as he gets home because he's so tired, we always paint for maybe an hour before going to bed. So almost done!!!!! She's going to love it! Sooooo much color in that room.
My Mom gets here on Monday! Yay!!! The majority of my house is clean, but I still have 2 more bathrooms and bedrooms to clean! Not to mention a ton of laundry. (Downstairs bathroom is really clean! I swear Chris poured a whole bottle of bleach in the toilet! Yuck! LoL) But it should be done by Sunday night. I just need to motivate myself today, I'm having trouble staying awake LoL It's overcast today so it makes me want to just curl up on the couch with my puzzle book and have the windows open letting the nice breeze come in :) Man! Chris is off Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday and I want to go to Rockport soooooooooo bad!!!!! But he says no :( I shouldn't be traveling or something...boooo!!!! LoL Hopefully sometime this summer we can go :)
I'm getting so anxious and excited!!!! I can't wait to hold my little girl in my arms!!! But I know I will be disappointed if she takes longer than 2 weeks and 4 days LOL I'll probably tell her that Mommy said to come out right now! Hehe! But seriously I would be bummed :( I've been waiting for so long so I will probably get emotional if she doesn't want to come out yet :) We will see what she decides to do!
* Oh my Little Girl, you are getting so big! I woke up the other night in tears because you were completely stretched out from left to right! You had your whole booty sticking out on side and your knees and legs sticking out the other! And you did not want to move LoL You're running out of room, but you are MAKING room for you LoL Oh man! It hurts Mommy's belly and lower back, but she just breathes through it and tries to relax. I keep telling you that you can stretch all you want out here :) There's nothing to hold you back! I'm so excited! I keep dreaming about you. The other night you were maybe a couple of months old and you were crying, I asked you what was wrong, and you told me in the most chiple voice ever "I'm hungry and I'm wet" with a super pouty lip! Oh! My heart melted even in my dreams! LOL Even Abuelito is dreaming about you! He has been for a few months now LoL He's just as excited as I am! 2 more weeks!!!! I can't believe we are really going to be a family! You have no idea how long I've dreamed of this moment! Daddy and I have been together for 10 long years and have always been happy, but now that we are going to have you, happy doesn't even begin to describe how we feel. We are really excited my little jelly bean! We love you so very much!
