But I had to mention that so far parenting has been a trip LOL Breastfeeding has had its ups and downs, we are still working on that. One day, a stream of milk literally shot out from my nipple and wouldn't stop! Chris couldn't breathe he was laughing so hard, and I laughed so hard I peed myself. (*Yup Gillian, Mommy peed herself.) So far Gillian has peed on me, pooped on me (it shot out from her butt like a ketchup bottle all over the comforter, carpet, my leg and hand....Chris laughed, I laughed, but it was so very gross, and she has emptied her stomach contents all over my chest on more than one occasion. She has had some bad nights where she doesn't want to go to sleep, but is so very tired. My poor baby is gassy and has explosive poop, you can hear her a mile away (*sorry, I know this will be embarrasing for you, but it's really funny when you fart or poop LOL Chris was home for 2 weeks, they flew by and when he had to go back I cried. I still cry, I miss him. It's very nice when he is home, I love being together. He's the best daddy ever and the most wonderful husband. He has not complained once about helping with Gillian. As a matter of fact, he's always offering to help. Well, it sounds like Gilly is starting to wake up so until next time! Sooooo much to do! Anyone want to come clean my house???? LOL
*Gillian Rosalie, we love you so much! I can't believe I've been taking care of you for 2 weeks and 2 days now! Time has flown by, but it feels like I've always had you. Taking care of you comes naturally, like I was meant to be a mom. I've always felt out of place in everything I did; work, school. But when I'm with you everything feels perfect. Some people are meant to be doctors or teachers, but I was meant to be the best mom I could be for you. I love you Gilly Bean! And Daddy loves you, too. I can't wait to see what happens next in our crazy life :)
